Smashing Weekend!

It was a three day weekend here, with Deepavali bank holiday today. Not that weekends/holidays mean much to me nowadays. It was such a nice change to have IK for 72 hours straight rather than the usual week which goes by swiftly, abit like this:

• Off to work by 8am.
• Some emailing if he has time, otherwise he is just oh so busy.
• He leaves the office on average at 7.30pm arriving home an hour later or sometimes even later thanks to the downpour causing floods/heavy traffic/etc KL is notorious for.
• Dinner at 8.30pm.
• Bedtime at 10.30-11pm.

All in all, we manage about 2-3 hours worth of chats daily for the past 3 weeks.

Weekends are normally filled with doctor's appointments as well as sorting out car.

This time, we didn't have any check ups (had it on Friday), car was all done and IK did not even have to work as he had predicted to. Huzzah.

All we did was chilled chilled and chilled some more. It was fun to have him around with me most times, despite not doing anything significant at all.

But.

It is back to stressful work and dull routine tomorrow for IK. I am having the blues on his behalf (whilst he is enjoying X-men on telly).
